There’s a fine line between “fitness accountability” and “fitness fun” when it comes to getting that “toned summer body”. If you put too much emphasis and motivation in “fun” then you’ll never get there. Getting in great shape doesn’t need to be fun or easy but when you’re there it sure will be rewarding which IS fun.
Anyway, all this psychology is one of the realities behind some people’s motivation to overcome adversity. Some people firstly need to be entertained as a way of setting the stage even before starting the workout. It’s OK to capitalize on the entertainment environment, but you’re kidding yourself if you don’t learn to have discipline and accountability when it comes to getting a legitimate toned body and in great shape. The expertise in training will become more evident when you show up motivated. The science of my training can become the focus of your overall goal vs. how well you can be fitness entertained. Trust me, no matter where or how you work out, this focus/concentration attitude is what all great, toned, athletic bodies have in common.
