Mena realized one day that she had a choice: continue the upwards weight climb she was experiencing after her second child, or become healthy and strong for herself and her family. Mena chose to get herself into shape, and as she continually put forth the effort the acknowledgment from others proved additionally motivating. After some time, Mena was hooked on fitness and her achievements in the field began to expand, first starting as a kickboxing instructor then getting NETA and Turbo Kick- certified. To Mena, fitness training is not her job, it her joy.
A trainer for more than three years now, she never tires of helping people achieve their fitness goals on the road to a happier, healthier lifestyle. She knows firsthand how difficult it is to become physically fit, and the fact that physical and mental fitness go hand-in-hand. One of her most memorable success stories was a motivated mom that went from a size 8 to a size 4 in about eight months. One day, Mena’s client went to pick up her children from school, and she was mistaken for her own daughter from behind… talk about motivating.
Mena feels the key to all success stories is consistency and pushing beyond what people feel their capabilities are. Her history in Retail Management is also a key to her personal success in training/ as she wants to make her clients happy, and knows that the client is ALWAYS right. Although she is forthcoming that it won’t be an easy road, to achieve results she insists that exercise is like brushing your teeth, part of your everyday life. One look in the mirror after training with Mena will assure anyone their diligence paid off.
